01 About Run Love Sprint

Run Love Sprint ("RLS", "we", "us", "our") is a social running community platform operated by Run Love Sprint Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17113721). RLS connects runners in London for training partnerships, social runs, group activities, events, and genuine human connection — including running mates, dates, and Sprint (super-like) connections where users have chosen those options.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RLS mobile application, website at runlovesprint.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By registering an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform, you agree that we may enforce these Terms, including our zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users, through content removal and account termination.

02 Eligibility

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use RLS. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or over. We collect your date of birth at registration to confirm this. By providing this information you confirm that it is true. We may take further steps to verify age if we have reason to doubt the information provided. Any account found to belong to someone under 18 will be terminated immediately without notice.

Legal capacity

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you are using RLS on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Geographic scope

RLS is currently available in London, United Kingdom. We may expand to other locations in the future. We make no representation that the Platform is appropriate or available for use in other locations.

03 Your Account

Registration

To access RLS, you must create an account using a valid email address, sign in via Sign in with Google, or sign in via Sign in with Apple. Any of these methods requires you to complete the onboarding process. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

Real identity

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether you use email and password, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@runlovesprint.com.

One account per person

You may only hold one active account on RLS. Creating multiple accounts, including to evade a ban or suspension, is prohibited.

04 Acceptable Use

You agree to use RLS only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Platform. RLS connects runners as mates, for dates, or through Sprint (super-like) signals, as well as for group runs, events, and community activities. Your conduct towards other users must be respectful in all connection contexts.

You must not

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information on your profile or elsewhere on the Platform
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Create a profile for anyone other than yourself
• Use the Platform to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or harm another user
• Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam to other users
• Solicit money, financial information, or any form of payment from other users outside the Platform's designated channels
• Post content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive
• Use the Platform to promote illegal activity or solicit others to commit illegal acts
• Attempt to access another user's account without authorisation
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

Zero tolerance

Run Love Sprint has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Objectionable content includes, without limitation, content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, threatening, fraudulent, or otherwise offensive, and any use of the Platform to stalk, intimidate, or harm another person. We may remove content, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

Coaches and pacers

The prohibition on soliciting money does not apply to coaches and pacers listed on the Platform who discuss or charge their published rates through the Enquire flow. Coach and pacer commercial activity is permitted only within those designated channels.

Profile content

We encourage you to use a clear, recent photo of your face — it helps other runners recognise you and builds trust within the community. A profile photo is optional during onboarding. Photos that are sexually explicit, contain other people without their consent, or are otherwise inappropriate will be removed. Your profile information must be accurate and represent who you actually are.

05 User Content

Your content

RLS allows you to upload, post, and share content including profile photos, biographical information, run descriptions, group content, and messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content.

Licence to RLS

By posting User Content on RLS, you grant Run Love Sprint Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purposes of operating, developing, and improving the Platform. This licence exists only to allow us to do things like display your profile to other users, show your public runs in the feed, and operate the service as intended.

We do not sell your content to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

Content standards

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You confirm that your User Content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or rights of publicity.

You must not post User Content that violates §04 (including our zero-tolerance policy). Other users may report or block you if they find your content objectionable.

Content removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, harmful, or inconsistent with the spirit of the RLS community.

Prize Draws

RLS may run prize draws from time to time. Whether a prize draw takes place, and when it takes place, is at our sole discretion. Our aim is to run at least one draw each month, but we do not guarantee that a draw will take place in any particular month, or that any specific prize will be available.

Prize draws are always free to enter. No purchase is necessary. Tickets are earned through free platform activity, such as completing your profile, joining runs, making connections, referring friends, and other qualifying actions shown in the app. Prizes may be provided by RLS or by partners and are subject to availability. Unless we say otherwise, prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

Eligibility: you must be 18 or over and an RLS member in good standing to earn tickets and take part. We may void tickets or exclude entries that we reasonably believe were obtained through abuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.

Each draw is generated automatically in our admin console. Every valid ticket entered into a draw has an equal chance of being selected. A user may win only one prize per official monthly draw. If the same user is selected more than once in that draw, any further winning tickets for that user will be discarded and redrawn. We will keep a record of each draw. Results will be shared on the Run Love Sprint Instagram account (@runlovesprint), typically by announcing that a draw has taken place and identifying winners in a privacy-conscious way (for example by first name or first name and initial only).

Winners will be notified by in-app notification and by in-app message. To claim a prize, a winner must have downloaded the RLS app, completed registration, and signed in to their account. If a selected winner has not done so, or if we cannot verify an eligible account, that prize is forfeited and we will redraw.

Winners must respond and claim their prize within 30 days of notification. If a prize is not claimed within that period, it is forfeited and will roll into the next available draw (or be redrawn, at our discretion). Our decision on winners, eligibility, and claims is final.

We reserve the right to amend these prize draw rules at any time. Full details of how tickets are earned are shown in the app.

Referral programme

Active RLS members may invite others to join the Platform through the referral programme. Tickets are earned per successful referral, defined as the referred person completing onboarding using the invited email address within the referral window shown in the app.

• You must be an active RLS member to refer others
• Self-referrals are not permitted
• You may not refer accounts you control or create for the purpose of earning tickets
• You may not use misleading, spammy, or unsolicited outreach to generate referrals
• RLS reserves the right to invalidate tickets earned through referrals it considers abusive or fraudulent

06 Safety and Physical Activity

Personal responsibility

RLS is a platform for connecting runners. We are not a personal trainer, fitness advisor, or event organiser. Any physical activity you undertake as a result of using RLS, including joining public runs, attending group events, or meeting other users, is entirely at your own risk and discretion.

Arranged meetings

RLS connects people. It does not vet, endorse, or take responsibility for the conduct of its users when they meet in person. When meeting another user for the first time, we strongly encourage you to:

• Meet in a public place, ideally during daylight hours
• Tell someone you trust where you are going
• Keep your personal contact details private until you feel comfortable
• Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave

Any arrangement made between users to meet in person is made at those users' own discretion and risk. Run Love Sprint Ltd is not a party to any such arrangement and accepts no responsibility for what occurs as a result.

Dating and social connections

RLS allows users to connect as running mates, for dates, or through Sprint (super-like) signals. If you meet another user in a dating or social context, the same safety guidance applies: meet in a public place, tell someone you trust where you are going, trust your instincts, and contact emergency services if you feel unsafe. You are under no obligation to continue communication or meet again.

Public runs

Users who create public runs on RLS are doing so as private individuals, not as agents of Run Love Sprint Ltd. RLS is a platform that facilitates the creation and discovery of runs. It is not the organiser of those runs. Run creators and participants are solely responsible for their own safety and conduct during any run. Organisers may also restrict public runs by gender or sexuality. A women-only run, for example, is visible only to women in the Runs feed. A run scoped to a particular sexuality is visible only to users who match.

Listed events

Events listed in the Events section of the Platform are organised by third parties. RLS aggregates and displays publicly available event information for the convenience of our community. RLS is not the organiser and accepts no responsibility for the conduct, availability, pricing, cancellation, or refund policies of any listed event. Users register and participate at their own discretion and through the organiser's official channels.

Reporting concerns

If you experience or witness unsafe or objectionable behaviour on the Platform, including in profiles, messages, runs, groups, or events, report it immediately using the in-app Report function or hello@runlovesprint.com. We take all safety reports seriously and review every one.

When meeting other users, meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you are going, trust your instincts, and contact emergency services if you feel unsafe. Report concerning behaviour through the in-app Report function so our moderation team can investigate.

07 Connections and Messaging

The connection system

RLS offers three connection types (Mate, Date, and Sprint) allowing users to signal their intent when connecting with other runners. These signals are a feature of the Platform designed to reduce ambiguity between users. They do not constitute any form of guarantee, commitment, or endorsement by RLS.

Messaging

Messages sent between users are private. We do not read private messages as a matter of course. However, we reserve the right to review messages where a user has been reported for harassment, abuse, or other violations of these Terms. If we find evidence of a violation, we will take appropriate action including account termination and, where required by law, reporting to the relevant authorities.

Blocking, reporting, and filtering

You can block or report any user at any time using the in-app controls (including from a user's public profile, Connections, Messages, and after a shared run).

Filtering: Blocking and Discover skip let you filter other users and their associated content from your experience. When you block someone, they are removed immediately from your Discover feed and from surfaces where you would otherwise discover, contact, or interact with them.

Reporting: When you submit a report, we record it for review by our moderation team. Reports may relate to a user's profile, messages, conduct, or other User Content. You may also contact us at hello@runlovesprint.com.

Blocking and reports: Blocking removes the user from your feeds and contact paths immediately. Submitting a report notifies us of the concern and allows our team to investigate. We encourage you to report objectionable content or abusive behaviour; you may also block the user for your own safety.

Our commitment: We aim to review all reports of objectionable content or abusive users within 24 hours. Where we confirm a violation, we will remove the offending content and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove (eject) the user who posted it. We will confirm to reporters that a report has been actioned where possible, but UK GDPR may limit what we can disclose about another user's account.

We do not notify a user when you block them.

Enquire flow

Coaches, pacers, and certain business listings can be contacted through the Enquire flow. When you send an Enquire message, the Platform automatically creates an accepted Mate connection between you and the coach, pacer, or business you are contacting. This bypasses the standard Mate, Date, or Sprint request and acceptance flow.

Coaches and pacers

Coaches and pacers can list their qualifications, hourly rates, availability, and delivery type on their profiles. Users can browse and contact them through the Enquire flow. RLS does not endorse, vet, or guarantee the work of any coach or pacer. Contracts and payment are arranged directly between the user and the coach or pacer. RLS is not a party to any coaching or pacing agreement. Users are responsible for verifying credentials and suitability before engaging a coach or pacer.

Groups

Users may create or join groups for shared running interests. Group organisers are responsible for the conduct of their members within the group. RLS reserves the right to remove groups or group content that violates these Terms. By joining a group, you agree to follow any reasonable group-specific guidelines set by the organiser, provided they do not conflict with these Terms.

08 Premium Subscriptions

Free and Premium tiers

RLS offers a free tier with access to core features, and a Premium tier that unlocks additional functionality. During the beta period, all features currently available on the Platform are provided at no charge. Premium charging is planned to be introduced after launch; we will update these Terms when billing is enabled. The features included in each tier may change over time. We will give reasonable notice of any changes to what is included in the free tier.

Premium benefits

Premium is designed to give members access to additional functionality, which may include more visible incoming connection requests, an increased daily Sprint quota, and access to partner offers through RLS Rewards. The specific benefits available may change over time.

Billing (not yet enabled)

Premium charging is not currently enabled during the beta period. When we introduce paid Premium subscriptions, payments will be processed through the relevant app store and we will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy accordingly. Run Love Sprint Ltd does not currently store or process payment card information for Premium subscriptions.

Free Premium periods

RLS may offer free Premium access to certain users, including founding members and Beta participants. Each offer has its own duration. For example, 6 months free Premium for early registrants, or lifetime Premium for active Beta testers, as communicated at the time of the offer. These offers are personal, non-transferable, and subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any free Premium offer with reasonable notice.

Price changes

When Premium charging is introduced, we may change the price of Premium subscriptions from time to time. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect.

09 Intellectual Property

The Run Love Sprint name, logo, wordmark, brand assets, and all Platform content created by RLS (excluding User Content) are the intellectual property of Run Love Sprint Ltd and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other applicable laws.

You may not use our brand assets, copy, or content without our prior written permission. The UK trade mark for Run Love Sprint (registration number UK00004360900) is owned by Run Love Sprint Ltd.

If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at hello@runlovesprint.com with details of the alleged infringement.

10 Termination

Termination by you

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings section of the app. On deletion, your profile is immediately hidden from other users and your personal data is permanently purged within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

During the beta period, this 30-day purge is completed manually by the RLS team. As the platform develops, we will automate this process.

Termination by RLS

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms, conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the community, or actions that bring the RLS brand into disrepute.

Where termination is for a clear breach of these Terms, we are not required to provide a refund for any unused Premium subscription period. Where termination is not for cause, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Effect of termination

On termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law, will continue to apply.

11 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Platform provided "as is"

The RLS Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

No liability for user conduct

Run Love Sprint Ltd is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Platform. We require real identity registration: users register as themselves, with email addresses (collected directly or via Sign in with Google) and the requirement that profile photos clearly show the user's face. We do not currently conduct criminal background checks or formal identity verification (such as passport or driving licence checks). Users interact with each other entirely at their own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Run Love Sprint Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, loss of revenue, or any harm arising from meetings arranged through the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may delete your account.

13 Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
